If you are applying for a marketing assistant position, congratulations! You have chosen the position with the highest turnover. The supervisor will only get moving after the manager starts pressuring them.

When something goes wrong, it won’t be the supervisor who gets blamed; you will be scolded first. If the manager forgets something, you will also be blamed for not reminding them and accused of not being proactive. The supervisor will not step in to help you either, and will say, “Otherwise, why would the boss have hired you?”

Overall, the company’s working environment is extremely poor. Everywhere outside the office is filthy and disorderly. In summer, it gets unbearably hot before they turn on the air conditioning.

The company also provides no holiday bonuses for the three major holidays and no year-end bonus. Don’t even think about a year-end party—they just go through the motions. During the interview, the manager will keep saying how much the company values its employees and you, but please don’t be fooled. This place is a hellhole that will crush your passion and waste your time. Your future should not be wasted here.
