Workplace reviews and discussion: 三雄科技股份有限公司

Did not go to work, so I’m not sure.

This is a company that specializes in laboratory cabinets and clean benches, and it also takes on construction projects externally. The office has been deliberately decorated, which is quite a stark contrast to the messy on-site environment. The position I interviewed for was a plumbing and electrical installation and construction worker. The interviewer was quite young; I guessed he was the boss’s son in this family business. His attitude was acceptable. The job requires business trips, traveling all over the north, central, south, and east of the country on a weekly basis. When I indicated that I couldn’t travel for work, he seemed to become more reserved. He only said that they really had a lot of work, so business trips were necessary, and that there were also many applicants. He acted as though it didn’t matter if I wasn’t willing to do it. When I asked about the salary, he just kept repeating, “I really can’t tell you clearly at this point. I’ll only know after seeing how you perform on-site.” I had already come all the way to the workplace—what was he still dodging for? @@ Was he messing with me and specifically asking me to come over just to chat? Those who cannot accommodate business trips should think carefully before applying!
