1. Colleagues are easy to get along with and help one another without scheming (there is not much to climb for in a family business).
2. Supervisors generally focus on the matter at hand and provide patient training.
3. The bonus system is clearly defined. I heard that salaries can be quite good for sales staff in some regions when their performance is strong.
4. Overtime is discouraged (because the company does not want to pay overtime. When overtime really occurs, you will be called in for a discussion—officially, the supervisor is helping to understand the work situation, but in practice, they are pressuring you to catch up quickly on your own and avoid overtime. So whether this is a pro or con depends on how you see it).
5. It is somewhat busy during the peak season, but you can usually leave work on time during the off-season.
1. The year-end bonus is calculated based on the “base salary.” The base salary is less than 20,000, while the full salary is calculated by adding many separate allowances. Business performance has been poor in recent years, so there is almost no year-end bonus.
2. The company uses an outdated Eten system. They have said they would switch to an ERP system, but I heard they have been saying that for several years without making any progress.
3. Customer development is difficult, but the factory often makes mistakes and quality is unstable, while sales staff are continually pressured to develop more customers.
4. There are hardly any benefits. The welfare committee simply uses the employees’ own money to organize group meals.
5. Long vacations are difficult to request; requests for more than two days will be pressured.
6. Overall, this is a job somewhere between good and average. There are not many benefits, and the assistant’s salary is ordinary, but once you have become familiar and proficient with the work, it is fairly stable, and the colleagues are good.
