First, I should mention that I live in Linkou. I was originally scheduled to go to an interview at 10 a.m. on July 11. After seeing the news last night that New Taipei City had suspended work and classes while Taipei City had not, I felt extremely torn and didn’t know whether I should go to the interview. In the end, they called me at 7:30 that morning to let me know in advance. They apologized for calling so early, explaining that since it was currently typhoon season, the company’s top priority was safety and the interview could be postponed. They asked whether I would be okay with postponing it, and of course I said yes. This area is near the mountains, and with the rain coming down, I really didn’t want to go outside at all.

I noticed that Mala seems to have locations mostly in Taipei City. I hope they can open a few more in New Taipei as well, so it will be closer to ride there in the future.
