Yesterday I interviewed for a planning assistant position. Overall, the interview felt pretty good. The position requires someone who is optimistic, proactive, quick to respond, and able to work independently.

Regarding salary, although I have just graduated and do not have much work experience, I have achieved quite a lot through managing student clubs and have competition entries and a personal portfolio that I prepared separately. I was hoping for a salary of 28,000–30,000. After reviewing everything, the interviewer said they would discuss it with the supervisor and notify me by phone if I am selected.

In addition to the basic perfect-attendance and year-end bonuses, the benefits include birthday gift certificates, domestic and overseas travel and travel subsidies each year, free afternoon tea every week, and various occasional discounts.

I arrived 15 minutes early that day. Including me, there were three people waiting for interviews one after another. The company has a dog, and it is quite friendly toward people, so it might not be suitable for someone who is afraid of dogs.
