I interviewed approximately N years ago. The interviewer was an older female executive who was very kind. She even told me not to be nervous and invited me to introduce myself gradually in a conversational manner. She also asked about my family situation. Next came the written questions. As I recall, they involved describing a recent marketing advertisement that had made a strong impression and explaining how to market and package a health food product. There was quite a generous amount of time, so I could take my time writing.
Overall, the company was simple and clean, and there were not many people (around four, I think). However, the senior executive was very warm. When I mentioned my career planning, she showed timely concern and encouragement. I never expected that an interview would also give me the opportunity to speak with such a wonderful executive.
The salary offered was very low, and assistants had to do everything, including cleaning the restroom and taking out the trash. Another female supervisor had an arrogant attitude and stated that our company did not lack business (a rather perplexing thing to say). She kept questioning me about my past experience in a way that conveyed distrust. This alone made me feel there was no need to go any further.
