1. There is quite a lot of room for the art staff. Unless a client requests revisions, the boss generally does not have many opinions about the art staff’s finished work.
2. We often receive trial products from vendors.
3. Because of the nature of the work, we come into contact with people from all kinds of industries, so we can learn a lot about social pitfalls and marketing strategies.
1. The company operates out of a business center, so you have to provide your own computer. If you have spoken with the boss the day before, you can work from home, but sometimes when there is an urgent design request and you are not at the office, the boss will come straight to your home to monitor the work and discuss the requirements.
2. The boss’s verbal communication skills are relatively weak, so you are often made to give presentations (it is very stressful).
3. The boss is too frugal. When accompanying him on business appointments, you have to take the bus or MRT. If you drive, who knows whether you might be pressured into becoming the company driver.
4. The boss is interested in collecting banknotes with unusual serial numbers, and often asks you to open your wallet so he can look at your notes’ serial numbers and trade with you.
