Purely physical work. Two days off per week. Not much overtime, but moonlighting is not allowed. Employees are expected to cooperate when the company needs overtime.

The compensation mentioned during the interview is misleading: without overtime, you cannot receive the stated salary. It includes nearly NT$3,000 in performance pay, nearly NT$2,000 in perfect-attendance pay, and nearly NT$2,000 in meal allowances. The basic base salary is only around NT$18,000, which HR never mentions at all. When you receive your paycheck, it feels like you have been deceived.

Salary is adjusted only once every three years, by just NT$300–500 each time. The longer you work, the less you earn. Most new employees earn more than longtime employees. Year-end bonuses depend on the boss's mood and have decreased year by year. If you take extended leave—such as maternity leave, paternity leave, or leave due to a work-related injury—half of the year-end bonus is deducted first, and then the amount is adjusted based on the boss's satisfaction with the employee. The boss still thinks too much is being given. The company is less considerate toward longtime employees; as long as there is money to hire someone, that is all that matters.

Basically, management has no comprehensive rules and everything depends on the boss's mood. In practice, management consists of scolding employees, and employee opinions are not accepted.
