The bad outweighed the good, so I can’t name any advantages.
This is the worst company I have ever worked for. When I first joined, the office didn’t feel like an office, and there wasn’t even a time clock. Every system was a complete mess, and there were no clear rules regarding overtime (the boss said that overtime only counted when he said it was overtime—but I never heard him say that). Because this company was understaffed, the amount of work could be N times that of other companies. The boss expected employees to be jacks-of-all-trades: not only did we have to do our own jobs well, we also had to go out to support event operations and handle unexpected miscellaneous tasks. The boss was very good at making grand promises to employees. During the interview, he said the company used a low-base-salary, high-bonus system, but the bonus system was just as unclear, and bonuses were not itemized clearly on the payslips. He would also describe wonderful visions of the future, such as how he would cultivate your talents, but without establishing any training system, these things were simply impossible.
When I first joined, the lack of a time clock violated the Labor Standards Act. The unclear overtime system and the verbally stated system of responsibility also did not comply with the Labor Standards Act. I could not stand this unequal labor-management relationship, so I am making this public to warn future job seekers.
