Pros

Hard to say

Cons

We have to address the boss as “Teacher,” but he does not conduct himself like one.

The boss often changes his mind and frequently calls everyone into impromptu meetings after arriving at the company.

He asks questions during meetings and gets angry when everyone does not understand what he means.

There are new ideas almost every day, requiring things to be reorganized and causing delays.

Then he blames everyone for not making enough progress.

Things are often started before they have been finalized; the managers only say, “Just do it first and we’ll talk later.”

Then, when something is done incorrectly, they say we did it wrong and only afterward say that the schedule needs to be accelerated.

The managers are highly submissive and do not really dare to raise issues with the company.

The managers like comparing the past with the present and boasting about how much they love the company.

The managers like communicating in a gangster-like tone and often raise their voices; people nearby find it noisy.

The high turnover rate means employees often have to take on multiple roles.

Salaries are hardly ever adjusted and are very stagnant.

The year-end bonus is less than one month’s salary, and sometimes there is no year-end bonus at all.

The gift boxes for the three major holidays are often fruit grown by the boss’s relatives or simple pastries.

There is no year-end banquet. There is a spring banquet, usually held as a traditional buffet banquet by the roadside.

The uniforms are very ugly.

The overtime application process is troublesome.

Salaries are paid in two installments on two different days; I do not know whether this is illegal.

The overtime pay is not high; working a part-time job after work would earn more.

Employees have been deprived of parking space: half of the parking lot was converted into a showroom, making it difficult to find a motorcycle parking spot.

The original promise to find another parking lot for employees to use was merely talk.

Orders from the boss’s friends often become extremely urgent, forcing everyone to rush desperately to meet them.

The boss likes to smoke. The office is an enclosed space, so we are forced to breathe thirdhand smoke.

The boss likes to imitate other companies’ technologies but cannot do them as well as those companies.
