1. It is a family-owned company; the Taipei office is full of the boss’s relatives and friends.
2. New employees have to write a report every day for the boss’s wife to review.
3. The mainland factories are dominated by mainland Chinese employees, who look down on Taiwanese people (except for the local general manager).
4. For people who have no connection to the boss, there is absolutely no prospect; don’t waste your time.
5. Taiwan’s factories in the screw industry are no longer competitive in mainland China.
6. Realistically, they cannot afford to pay decent salaries.
7. The working hours are very long. Even when it is time to eat, you still cannot eat until the local general manager goes to eat; otherwise, you will be harshly reprimanded (as if this were the ancient emperor’s mealtime).
