The company’s senior management is very good at talking.
They are stubborn and self-righteous, and extremely concerned about saving face. They have a hard time listening to other people’s opinions, often misinterpret what others mean, and are prone to making sarcastic remarks that hurt employees’ feelings. They also like holding inefficient meetings for meaningless, preachy lectures.
Employee turnover is very high. Almost every project is affected by personnel changes, but the managers all consider this a minor issue. They like creating problems for employees to solve. After employees work overtime to finish their tasks, they may instead be criticized by their supervisors for working excessive overtime. This is a company that does not value its employees at all. Experienced employees generally want to leave within about three months, leaving mostly inexperienced newcomers or interns.
The company often packages work under the name of “learning,” but the compensation is genuinely not competitive compared with the industry. If you want to work there, strengthen your mental resilience first and prepare to let exploitative bosses trample all over you.
