上台科技股份有限公司
Pros

1. Conveniently located at Taipei Main Station (Beimen), with easy transportation

2. Very few students attend classes, so there are plenty of empty classrooms (convenient during lunch breaks)

3. Deng xx really likes turning off the lights in the classrooms and corridors—environmentally friendly and good for the planet (saves electricity)

Cons

1. Pretends to be a mainland Chinese company but is actually a Taiwanese company (registered capital is only NT$500,000)

2. Poor working environment; disgusting restrooms (and no break room)

3. Lures people into taking the job, then exploits them and pressures them to work overtime without overtime pay

4. Poor benefits; annual bonus is less than one month’s salary

5. Supervisor Deng xx has bipolar-related issues

6. A company that absolutely loves holding meetings (lasting at least one hour)

7. HR employee Tang xx hugs you to your face, then stabs you in the back 🔪

8. Staff turnover is 20% every month (up to 50% in a single month)

9. The pressure is too great, so employees easily get sick (someone gets a fever every month)

10. If you take sick leave, you will be grilled the next day (taking advantage of your vulnerability to make your life even harder)

11. Likes to make interviewees wait for more than an hour

12. Likes to ask you to do many things far beyond your job scope (for example, IT staff are also responsible for procurement)

13. Presentations are mainly criticized for typos, romanization, currency symbols, commas, and all sorts of other details, driving you crazy...

14. You may be scolded for no reason (even when it is not your fault)

15. Each department and employee has more than seven reports to submit every day

16. Upper management is never wrong; you are wrong for misunderstanding what they meant

17. The office adds ‘at least’ one new office rule every week (because a certain supervisor has bipolar issues, as mentioned earlier)

18. You must respond on WeChat even after work and on holidays (if your supervisor mentions you with @)

19. When entering a certain supervisor’s office, you have to bow and say ‘Reporting’

20. They do not want you and will not lay you off; instead, they will try every possible way to humiliate you and force you to resign

21. The company does not have an employment service license, yet openly and illegally provides domestic and overseas employment services (introducing its trainees to jobs in mainland China)

22.....I’m tired and don’t want to write anymore (there are countless shortcomings)
