Came in to interview for a PM position; the PM interviewer was pretty nice and likable.
But I actually didn't apply for a PM position......
Anyway, since HR invited me, I decided to give it a try.
Of course, the questions asked during the interview were all about PM work.
When I asked HR why they had invited me to interview for a PM role, she also played dumb and said, “Huh? Really?” Then nothing more came of it.
HR was very unprofessional; afterward, they didn't even send a thank-you letter.
I've interviewed with several large companies, and none of them were this rude.
The impression I got was that several of the interviewers had been brought in at the last minute just to interview me.
In the middle of it, one interviewer even had to leave because they had another meeting.
The interview lasted three hours, and I spent more than 40 minutes waiting for people in a small meeting room.
Maybe HR just invited me to boost their performance numbers, sigh.
No wonder this company is always looking for PMs—it just keeps cycling people in and out.
