The company is very small, with few employees. During the interview, they stated up front that because there is a performance-based commission system (2% of the gross profit on orders), the base salary is very low. The company is purely an electronics-parts trading business that competes on price. Since it essentially resells products for the price difference, its gross margin is necessarily low, so the estimated bonus of 2% of gross profit would probably not amount to much. They also said that bonuses for the three major holidays may not necessarily be provided, and there are no other notable benefits. There is essentially no reason to join. The workload does not seem light: the role covers both domestic and international work, including developing suppliers, procurement, and developing and maintaining customers and handling orders.
The compensation system needs to be adjusted; it is almost the lowest in the industry.
