1.Violates the statutory minimum wage under the Labor Standards Act

2.Almost always requires overtime, without paying a single cent in overtime pay (it is quite common to work 11–12 or even 13 hours a day)

3.Deducts monthly National Health Insurance premiums, but there is no record when checked with the National Health Insurance Administration. The company deducts the money but does not actually enroll employees in insurance

4.For anyone who has worked at this company for less than one year, the basic monthly days off are only about four days. These four days are all Thursdays, the company’s regular day off each week. All other days are workdays, which does not comply with the required one regular day off and one rest day, and employees have no right to choose their days off. All leave is arranged by the company

5.Basic wage + perfect-attendance bonus + meal allowance − labor and health insurance = 9,805

(With current prices, just the cost of three meals a day and basic transportation fuel leaves almost nothing. There is no need to mention the other expenses that still have to be paid.)

6.The position advertised during the interview was a full-time styling assistant. Later, in court, the company argued that the employee was an apprentice or a part-time worker—an absurd excuse intended to evade the government-mandated minimum wage
