This was my first job. Compared with other companies I worked for later, and even with overseas companies, the boss here treated employees extremely well, was willing to give newcomers opportunities, and was not picky about employees' educational background or qualifications. The management system was considered very good compared with companies of a similar size. It is a family-owned business that started as a small drilling factory (if I remember correctly), and the second generation transformed it into a medium-sized gear manufacturer. However, it does a very large volume of business: in terms of order volume, it is no less than a listed company. There is never a worry about not having orders—only about not being able to finish the work in time. The boss does not smoke or drink, yet is very capable of entertaining all kinds of clients, which is a significant talent.

Speaking solely about the sales position, in all honesty, the only major drawback was that the office staff tended to be impatient and irritable because of the high sensitivity to deadlines, and communication was relatively direct; people might even use harsh language. (In fact, this happens at most companies, so comparatively speaking, the situation was not too bad.) If you can adapt to the high-strung coworkers—not every one of them—the other aspects are not major problems. The boss was also very willing to let employees learn and even gave work opportunities to quite a few people who had difficulty developing their abilities; very few bosses are willing to do that. In reality, I did not stay very long at the time, and after leaving the company, I felt it was a real shame.
