Paid leave is definitely provided. One particular store in Taichung really offers 30,000 plus a 1,000 perfect-attendance bonus (it is only 30,000; no matter how long you work there, it will not change).

Front-of-house: 10:00–22:00. Back-of-house: 10:00–22:00 on weekdays, 09:30–22:00 on holidays. Breaks are from 14:00–15:30 or 15:30–17:00. Starting at 20:00, staff eat late-night meals in batches (about 20 minutes).

Salaries vary by store. Taichung pays the most, with a salary of 30,000.

There is also a bonus, but it is increased directly the following month only if that month's target is reached.

There are also employee dinners, as long as you meet the target for that month.

Someone was promoted from Taichung to Taipei but still received 30,000, because salaries in Taipei are lower than in Taichung.

To take bereavement leave, you must submit the original death certificate (a photocopy is not accepted), because the boss personally said, “I don’t trust the employees.”

When you have a better idea for the company and want to tell the boss, the boss will not listen to you completely and will instead try to brainwash you into believing that the current system is the best.

You have to look at the department store’s promotional flyer to find out about company events; even the managers do not know.

There are no employee trips. Overseas trips are only available after working for more than five years; domestic trips are impossible.

The company pays half of the cost of the medical examination, and you pay the other half.
