Today I want to share about: 大洋紙器有限公司(泰立豐實業社)
I applied for the apprentice position, and HR sent me an interview invitation. When I arrived, I met with the master craftsman.
The master craftsman looked at my résumé twice and asked, “Do you have any experience?” I answered, “No.” After that,
he simply said there was another interview on Friday and that he would see how that candidate was first, then decide. The interview ended abruptly after one minute.
(Don’t doubt it—the entire interview only gave me the chance to say one word. If experience is required, shouldn’t it be stated directly in the job posting?)
Regardless of the master’s standards for selecting people, this kind of attitude was truly nauseating.
It’s not as though I haven’t interviewed at this type of paper-products factory before. At least every other company explained the nature and content of the work and its operating procedures. Some were even more helpful, explaining the promotion system and the requirements for graduating to independent operation, and asking whether job applicants could accept them, and so on.
But this company was the only one whose attitude was not merely terrible—it was completely jaw-dropping.
