Fortunate to have met good colleagues.
As a retail sales employee, the individual performance bonus is only 0.5% for every 100,000, or 500, and applies only to furniture. Even if you sell high-priced home furnishings worth 10,000 or 20,000, they do not count. Stores outside northern Taiwan also require employees to take on warehouse management duties because the company does not want to spend more on additional storage space or logistics staff. You have to receive inventory, notify customers, and ship orders while moving extremely heavy furniture through narrow passageways that were never designed for logistics. What is the salary for this kind of work? NT$23,000–24,000. They act as though they are paying you an enormous amount. For store manager positions, they do not develop employees through a management-trainee program. After you become a store manager, they add only NT$1,000 the following month and another NT$1,000 after six months, bringing the salary to approximately NT$25,000–27,000, with virtually no possibility of further increases afterward. You have no real managerial authority but are expected to do all kinds of tasks, meet sales targets, and even run outside errands. Yet they completely ignore employee benefits, simply imagining that all of this is what you should be doing for NT$23,000–24,000 a month. This is a company that looks down tremendously on young people and hardworking employees.
