During the interview, I saw that a meeting was happening inside right when I arrived at the entrance, so I felt bad about disturbing them and didn’t ring the doorbell. I waited outside for a while, until the meeting ended. Then, a slightly chubby woman walked to the entrance, saw me, and told me to come in.
Later, while I was filling out my résumé outside, I heard her say to the others inside that I was strange for not ringing the doorbell while waiting outside. She said things like, “The interviewee saw that there were people having a meeting inside, so they felt bad about ringing the doorbell. How strange,” and so on.
It left me with a very bad impression.
