The boss is very talkative.
He was very vague about benefits and overtime, and did not mention the three traditional holiday bonuses.
He only said that the year-end bonus ranges from 0.5 to 2 months’ salary depending on performance. He mentioned that there are holidays during the Lunar New Year and summer vacation, but did not say whether they are unpaid leave.
They are hiring a graphic designer, but there is no software available to use. The boss seemed very proud of creating graphics in Excel, which felt disrespectful toward the profession.
The work environment is very cramped and crowded, with poor air quality; all the colleagues present were wearing masks.
It felt like they were very concerned about the applicant’s age and family situation.
