The interviewer was very friendly. The interview was conducted in a conversational manner, and they said that the workload was not particularly heavy, allowing time to get up to speed, with no need for frequent overtime.

It is a very small, workshop-style company. The interviewer is a Taiwanese manager who does not stay in Taiwan for long and works together with the owner’s wife... Before starting work, employees must spend 15 minutes cleaning the workplace, and are also expected to help with tasks such as packaging e-commerce shipments. The company’s management and communication are problematic: 1. After notifying me that I had been accepted, they asked me to come in for one day of handover (but said it would not count as starting work). After I raised concerns and said I could start earlier to cooperate, they explained that it was only a short handover and would not take an entire day. 2. They notified me on Monday afternoon that I had been accepted and agreed to let me take some time to consider whether I could respond by Wednesday. (In fact, I gave a positive response before the end of work on Tuesday.) Although the company had agreed to this, it went back on its word and, before the end of work on Wednesday, changed its mind and said it had hired someone else. It really felt that the company had no credibility at all and showed no respect for job applicants!
