1. The salary is not bad; if you receive a good performance rating, N*20 is possible.
2. The benefits are comprehensive, and you will receive everything you are supposed to—except overtime pay.
3. Most people have civil-servant-like working hours, but it still depends on your supervisor and the nature of the business work.
P.S. Workplace: Headquarters
1. The job depends heavily on your supervisor’s character; the culture of flattering superiors is extremely serious from top to bottom.
2. Ongoing projects can easily change direction drastically or be abandoned altogether when a senior manager is replaced, wasting considerable company resources and leaving projects spinning their wheels (related to the flattering culture mentioned in point 1).
3. Innovation is largely just a slogan. Big data, fintech, and so on are very skillfully packaged in reports, but there are few substantive results. Most of it consists of flowery language intended for mutual praise.
4. Basically, it is similar to serving in the military: the system is very rigid, older employees rely on seniority, and newer employees wait for their turn to be taken advantage of. The workforce has a very pronounced M-shaped age distribution.
5. In short, aside from the money, claims about being a “happy workplace” should be taken with a grain of salt. There is little else to comment on, so think carefully before joining.
