The environment looks good, with a separate interview space (which is also where students inquire about courses). The staff there are all very friendly.
1. The résumé contains too many questions unrelated to professional qualifications:
Zodiac sign, how much time it takes to get to the company, whether you need to support a family, whether you live with your family, and your family members’ occupations.
2. During the interview, the store manager first looks you over. Since the position involves sales, basic professional attire and makeup are understandable requirements. However, the way the store manager scrutinizes people makes you feel very uncomfortable.
3. New employees are required to arrive 30 minutes early, which I personally find unreasonable.
4. The base salary is NT$25,000, which is low for someone with relevant English and sales experience.
Overall, the work environment is acceptable and the staff are friendly, but the company’s traditional attitudes are outdated, which I personally dislike.
