Pros

Other than a few particularly nice coworkers (several of whom have also left), there are no pros at all.

Cons

1. After joining, employees in the sales department have to sign a “Sales Rewards and Disciplinary Measures” policy. If you fail to meet the target, 8% of your salary will be deducted—teehee^^

2. The company was established about two years ago. You could say its direction is unstable because it is still in its early stages, but in reality, it simply chases wherever there seems to be short-term profit. Therefore, although it is nominally an IT company, it has no products of its own at all. As an aside, there are not even any engineers left in the company now—teehee^^

3. Considering points 1 and 2 together, because the company’s direction is unstable, I believe it is extremely, extremely difficult for sales staff under the current circumstances to meet the standard for avoiding a salary deduction. Since this system was implemented, most people—90% of them, according to an irresponsible statistic—have had their salaries deducted.

4. There is a “great” vice president internally (now demoted to assistant vice president) who has offended almost every client he could possibly offend. New employees need to be prepared to clean up after him. (Cleaning up would be one thing, but he also constantly creates new problems for you. You may ask why the boss doesn’t fire him: because he is also one of the shareholders—teehee^^)

5. The company often likes to sign poisonous contracts with unclear specifications and fees below market rates. Now clients are taking unlimited advantage of them, but because the contract terms are too vague, the company cannot refute them. The result is... several projects have dragged on for more than a year without being closed—teehee^^

6. The boss has very good political and business connections; that is an undisputed fact. Therefore, he has extensive contacts and many relationships, but he also often gets involved in all sorts of ridiculous and troublesome matters. Please draw your own conclusions!

7. Taking all the above points together, people often talk about “internal troubles and external threats,” but the internal troubles alone have already caused the company to decline before any external threats were needed. In addition to internal company issues, the internal troubles also include relationships with vendors that are not “particularly good.” As mentioned in point 2, since the company no longer has products of its own, whether vendors can provide proper support is an important source of assistance, but... heh heh^^

8. Conclusion: If, after reading the points above, you are still willing to give this company a try, you really deserve a reward—your courage is commendable. As an aside, I initially agreed to interview because I saw that the company guaranteed 14 months of pay. Only after joining did I discover that last year we received just 0.6 months, and this year there is a very good chance there will be no year-end bonus. Readers, please consider this carefully for yourselves! Thank you.
