The colleagues are fairly easy to get along with.

After reporting for work, I was laid off after just one week because they believed the position was still more suitable for a “woman”!! Saying that I was slow in my movements is simply not a valid reason; it was only because the boss dislikes male customer service staff. The boss clearly applies a double standard and discriminates based on gender. Female employees are treated especially well, while male employees not only get spoken to harshly but are also looked at with disdain and may even be yelled at, which makes people uncomfortable! The company is still in its early start-up stage, and many things are disorganized and lack proper procedures. Finally, I have to mention that the boss’s wife originally said the company would cover labor and health insurance contributions and that they would not be deducted from our salaries. That was complete nonsense, because it was only on the day I was dismissed—after I had started working—that I found out she had never enrolled me in the insurance at all! She simply brushed it off by saying, “There were too many people, so I didn’t get around to doing it,” which was truly outrageous! I advise everyone to think twice.
