During the interview, there was no clear response when I asked about the salary and job duties.
On my first day of work, when I reported for duty, someone in a managerial position said that the general manager had instructed that new employees were not allowed to take days off for a month and had to work seven days a week, which violates labor laws. Every week, I had to travel to central and southern Taiwan for business, and I also had to use my personal phone to send company text messages. Although the company would reimburse the cost, none of this was mentioned during the interview, and the contract also contained clauses that did not comply with labor laws.
In addition, someone in a managerial position said that I had to provide my parents' contact information, claiming that it was necessary in case they could not reach me. They also said that if they could not reach someone, they could simply fire them, and that I had to provide the personal information of other people as well. Fortunately, I did not provide any information and left immediately.
