There is a strong culture of political maneuvering and favoritism. Once you join, you’ll discover that many people are related to one another. If you’re also related to a certain manager there, then it’s worth considering joining, because you might be able to do little or no work and still receive a decent performance rating.
You can tell from the performance of the products they make that they have completely stopped putting their heart into product development. They have released a bunch of poor-quality products, and consumers online have been loudly criticizing them… but it all goes in one ear and out the other.
It’s very simple: they don’t take the Taiwanese market seriously. (Although I don’t think they’ve captured much of the overseas market either!?)
