New building
The company wants to move the order-processing business originally handled in Denmark back to Taiwan, but the person sent from Vietnam to train us on entering orders very obviously has depression and cries emotionally at the slightest thing. The office computers have no software installed at all—not even the Office suite, not even Word—so how are we supposed to work? The Danish system is terrible and constantly crashes. There are one or two hundred orders every day, and it keeps crashing, so how are we supposed to finish them? The boss is also very emotional. Colleagues work overtime every day, apparently for only an extra two months’ salary at the end of the year. Also, one colleague comes to work without a bra and sits with her legs crossed—what is going on?
The manager at this company knows nothing and has very poor emotional intelligence. They are constantly shouting in the office and smoking, making the office smell terrible. When asking people to resign, they even said that because the employment period was less than three months, they would not issue a notice of involuntary termination. They almost did not pay the severance either; fortunately, I said I would file a complaint, and then they paid it. Absolutely awful.
