Some colleagues are nice.
There are too many issues.
For a foreign company, this is an extremely poor one.
It is completely foreign on the outside but Taiwanese at its core.
1. The company has many inefficient policies.
It often takes a year to implement a plan. Once everything is put into operation, the previous plan is completely overturned simply for the sake of creating a plan, and then another plan is introduced.
2. The benefits are very poor.
More than NT$300 is deducted every month for the benefits fund, but the travel subsidy is only NT$3,000, and the holiday bonuses total only NT$2,000 for the three major holidays. This is completely below the standard expected of a foreign company.
3. The managers lack ability and have poor personalities.
Several senior managers have extremely poor English skills, and their professional abilities are also inadequate. Only a small number of managers are capable. In addition, some very incompetent managers receive high salaries, do not do their jobs, and have many opinions.
4. Promotions are very slow, and there is little learning or development.
The official policy is that employees must perform the duties of the next position for two years before they can be promoted. For example, a specialist must perform the duties of a senior specialist for two years before being promoted to senior specialist. This is essentially exploitation in disguise. The work is also boring and offers little opportunity to learn; staying too long will cause you to lose your competitiveness in the job market.
