If you have courage and drive, the company is absolutely willing to let you try tasks you have no experience with. Even if you are not trained in the relevant specialty, it is still possible; the person in charge will not make you bear the consequences.

After all your efforts, all you will gain is experience. As for the other practical realities, try to take them in stride.
