1. The interview process was extremely disrespectful:
A. I applied for a landscape-related position, but the receptionist gave me a competency assessment related to urban planning to complete, so I could only answer “I don’t know” to everything.
B. The female interviewer inexplicably knew that the form was incorrect, but only asked me to fill out a landscape-related form again after the interview was over.
C. Throughout the interview, she kept emphasizing that they were looking for a comrade-in-arms. I heard it so many times I could practically grow calluses on my ears. She also repeatedly emphasized that if someone quit after working for only a day or two, it would be a loss for the company.
D. Perhaps they really hoped I would say something like, “Sorry, I’m not suitable for this job.” They kept hypocritically asking, with feigned concern, “Have you thought through your life plan?” and “Are you sure you want to pursue this path?”
E. When asking about salary, they first hinted that I shouldn’t write too high a figure, saying that if I wrote too high, there would be no point in continuing the discussion. Although they didn’t give me too much trouble after I wrote it down, saying that to me when asking me to provide a figure was very disrespectful.
Perhaps people applying for this job should preferably not be beginners; otherwise, they may experience all kinds of discomfort. If you want the thrill of experiencing the darker side of society, you can go for it.
