1. There is a bar counter at the office entrance. Franchise owners sometimes come for classes, and you can eat the drinks and coffee being tested, as well as waffles and taiyaki.
2. You can also use the coffee machine yourself (if you know how to operate it). Freshly ground and brewed coffee is actually quite good.
1. The turnover rate is high, but for the vast majority of positions, no one is hired to replace those who leave. There are more and more things to do, and fewer and fewer people.
2. You can't report overtime too frequently. Otherwise, the boss will think your performance and work ability are poor, since you apparently can't finish "these" tasks within eight hours.
3. There are an insane number of cockroaches in the office. They may crawl onto your body or legs at any time. In addition, because of work on the plumbing, many holes in the ceiling have not been covered up, and cockroaches occasionally fall from them…
4. The boss loves talking about all kinds of things from the past. Whether in meetings or interviews, he keeps repeating himself, and it always takes hours at a time.
(The record is an interview for the operations manager position: I went in at 13:30 and wasn't let out until 19:45…)
5. You can't contradict him because he's extremely thin-skinned; otherwise, he'll tell you to leave.
6. Almost all of the people who remain are old-timers, but everyone is outwardly cordial and inwardly at odds. This one is often calling that one a bitch, and that one is calling this one a slut.
You can only keep your mouth shut. It's best not to get close to anyone or anything, so you don't get caught in the crossfire.
7. The managers are awful. If they don't take a liking to you, they'll set you up: dump all the work on you, kick you out to take the blame when something goes wrong, and make you unable to stand it so that you leave on your own (saving them severance pay).
8. You still have to answer calls or get dragged into meetings and miscellaneous tasks during lunch break. There is absolutely no way to get a proper rest!
9. The gift vouchers for the three major holidays are actually discount coupons, and can only be used at one specific company-operated store.
10. Contacting you via LINE isn't enough—they also force you to use QQ. They claim it's to keep work and personal life separate, but in reality, both apps keep constantly popping up with messages even on weekends!
11... There are far too many things to complain about. I strongly recommend thinking twice before coming here (unless you're Superman or a god).
