Two months’ year-end bonus
Interviewers: the supervisor of the group control department and the vice president
I had briefly worked at a travel agency before (but in sales).
The supervisor and vice president who interviewed me that day thought I was a good fit.
I requested a salary of 30K.
The company stated that the year-end bonus would be two months’ salary, and that the base salary plus bonus would be >30K.
The probationary period was two months. Due to the special circumstances, they needed to discuss my job assignment plan with the supervisor.
There was a possibility of a second interview.
At the time, I also honestly stated that I had interviews with other companies and would need to wait until all the interviews were over before making a decision (the Double Ten holiday fell in between).
Since I was choosing between two companies, I also wanted to learn more details.
An interview with another company was scheduled for the afternoon of October 13.
That day, I was interviewed by two additional people (the sales supervisor and possibly the general manager).
Regarding the job arrangement:
4 months in the Sales Department -> OP -> tour control
Salary: 28K (two-month probationary period)
The company stated that I had to resign from my current job first before they could give me an offer.
(Normally, you receive an offer before resigning from your current company.)
Later, on October 13, I asked whether the salary could be 30K as stated during the interview (including during the probationary period).
Finally, late in the evening of October 16, they said they insisted on 28K and would evaluate me based on my actual abilities, etc.
I replied on October 18 that I would report for work and stated that I had already resigned from my previous company the week before.
Just now, on October 19, they replied that they would not provide me with an employment letter because I had not responded promptly.
She sent the email on October 16 and also said that they had encountered an experienced tour controller, so the general manager planned to hire someone else.
