There’s no lunch break. There is a staff meal, but the ingredients are extremely poor. You can’t eat until 2:30 p.m. and are only allowed half an hour. You have to clock in and out both before and after the meal, and you’ll be penalized if you exceed the allotted time.

You normally work nine hours a day, but there’s a strange rule: however many holidays there are this month, you have to work that many days for a full ten hours instead of nine...

There are eight days off per month, scheduled by shifts, with a whole bunch of scheduling rules. For example, you can’t schedule holidays off without special circumstances, etc. (Combined with that strange rule, it effectively means you only have the equivalent of seven days off...)

The office environment at the Gaomei branch is small, crude, and extremely poor, especially compared with the customer dining area...

The probationary period is three months, but the company may extend it to six months depending on the circumstances.
