You can work indoors, with air conditioning, and there is a lunch break.
The position was advertised as administrative accounting during the interview. The office consisted only of the boss and his wife (possibly also an accounting clerk). The boss smoked indoors, but was fairly nice. The boss's wife was extremely distrustful of everyone and required employees to do a great many miscellaneous tasks—tasks that had reached secretary-level responsibilities—while still paying only 22,000 (at most, they would help pay for labor and health insurance). She was very good at adding more work for you, even assigning you tasks that were part of her own responsibilities, and was extremely particular (for example, every repaired tire's mileage had to be recorded...). After I left, I also heard from the accounting clerk that employees were expected to pretend to clock out and continue working even when working overtime (to appear to comply with the Labor Standards Act), and there was no overtime pay! In addition, during the interview, they said that if you performed well, there had been cases where administrative staff received raises to 30,000. However, after I joined and checked the payroll reports, from the past up to that point, the only person whose salary had reached 30,000 was the boss's wife; the other office clerks earned at most 24,000. They were extremely good at lying.
