During the interview, the owner said that labor and health insurance would be provided and asked the applicant to come in for a trial shift of a few hours. However, there would be no labor or health insurance during the trial, only after officially starting work. After I started, the front-desk supervisor said that because canceling the insurance would be troublesome if I turned out to be unsuitable, there would be no labor or health insurance for the first three months. On top of that, I was paid only the statutory minimum hourly wage, and they would adjust it to a monthly salary after three months without saying how much it would be. This cram school is extremely dishonest. When you resign, they also do not return your card, so you become their ghost employee—no one will know whether you ever came to work. The owner here is also Australian. How can someone do this kind of illegal thing without feeling guilty? I strongly advise everyone not to work here. (Also, there are tons of rude, spoiled brats from wealthy families here.)
