The first interviewer was quite nice and willing to proactively share a lot of information.
The second interview was with the general manager of the office. That general manager was extremely inarticulate and seemed not to have prepared any questions or topics for discussion in advance. She would pause midway through speaking to think about what to say next.
In addition, what I found most confusing was that during the first interview, the interviewer specifically talked with me about how they had proactively approached me for an interview because they had seen my experience.
However, during the second interview, the general manager seemed unaware that “their company had proactively invited me to come for an interview.”
At the end of the interview, the general manager started saying that she thought I lacked sufficient experience in some areas and that they needed employees who could get up to speed immediately.
WTF
I was honestly speechless.
Also, the office is very small and has very few people. Everyone has to work on everything together, and there are exhibitions to attend even on weekends.
