The interviewer was flippant and casual. Halfway through the interview, they answered a phone call, leaving the other interviewer completely at a loss. I was left hanging for nearly five minutes before they came to their senses and asked questions, while the interviewer taking the call continued talking on the phone as if no one else were there. They even disregarded the interviewee’s impression, swearing freely, and throughout the interview gave the impression of looking down on others.
Although I am a complete beginner preparing to change fields—an absolute novice—I think there should still be a basic level of mutual respect. The entire interview felt rude and lacking in professionalism!
