Overtime pay is provided (but the base salary is low). On the day before Lunar New Year, you can leave once the thorough cleaning is finished before noon. Taking leave is not difficult, the atmosphere among colleagues is okay, and there are occasional group purchases. If you can stay, you can stay for a long time.
The chairs are uncomfortable.
The air-conditioning temperature is extremely inconsistent—it is either too cold or too hot.
In the morning, you cannot eat breakfast, comb your hair, or put on makeup.
Of the only two squat-free toilets in the women's restroom, neither can be used for defecation because they will become clogged.
I heard the men's restroom is very dirty and smelly.
There are no partitions between seats, so it is very cramped and there is nowhere to put things.
As for food, only a rice warmer, refrigerator, and hot-and-cold drinking water dispenser are provided. There are coin-operated snack and drink vending machines downstairs. You have to order delivery or go out to eat lunch (or dinner) yourself.
The salary is consistently very low, and there are no raises (there is only one raise after completing three months).
There is widespread buck-passing among departments (planning, sales, and editing).
