The entire interview left a terrible impression.
An unbelievably awful company. The CTO is arrogant and condescending, constantly interrupting candidates, and starts playing dumb as soon as salary comes up.
The most unacceptable part is that they kept asking about my family’s financial situation and occupations. None of your business.
The CTO is a professor at a private university in Zhongli, and most of the engineers under him are students—cheap, disposable labor brought in to be used. Naturally, they won’t offer ordinary candidates the market rate.
This company runs a video website for older adults, promoting lifestyle videos for seniors, yet discriminates against older job applicants.
They made a QR-code door-opening system and became smug, thinking they could sell it. Talk about being ignorant and narrow-minded.
