The base salary discussed during the interview was 3*k, with bonuses paid separately as a commission. The commission rate was approximately *%. During the interview, they said the commission calculation method would be explained during orientation on the first day of work!

However, after officially starting work, I asked about the bonus calculation method several times. The company repeatedly put it off for days, citing being busy as the reason… During this period, I helped handle miscellaneous company tasks and clean the office…

It was not until after one week of work that I was told the salary structure was a base salary of 3*k plus commission-based bonuses for the first three months. From the fourth month onward, the base salary would become 2*k plus commission-based bonuses… The commission rate would remain unchanged; only the base salary would be reduced.

At the time, I asked why this differed from what had been discussed during the interview. The company supervisor said that the first three months would be the most difficult, and that they believed I could achieve better results after the fourth month, so I should not focus on the base salary.

I asked again whether the base salary after the fourth month could be discussed further, because it was indeed very different from what had been discussed during the interview… The supervisor said, “If we didn’t put it that way, how would employees come to work here?”…

I resigned that day. The week I spent there was quite a waste of time!

I’m sharing this experience as a reference for people considering interviewing or working there… In the future, it would be best to record what is discussed during the interview as evidence; otherwise, the difference between this company’s interview discussions and the actual employment terms is enormous!
