● This establishment is “City Burger.” The owner previously operated a Laya Burger franchise and later switched to a City Burger franchise, but still uses the old Laya-era account to recruit employees.
1. Only group insurance is provided; labor and health insurance are not, which is illegal!
2. A NT$4,500 deposit is deducted from the first paycheck, but this was not disclosed during the interview, violating Article 26 of the Labor Standards Act and constituting an illegal practice!
3. The owner calls employees in the early morning and asks them to come to work early, seriously interfering with their lives outside of work.
4. Employees are required to start work ten minutes early and clock out according to the store clock, but the store clock has been set ten minutes slow.
5. Although the store separates positions, the titles are merely nominal. Regardless of the position, the owner requires employees to work front-of-house, back-of-house, prepare drinks, make food, and also handle deliveries.
6. There are many reckless road users. If delivery is required without labor and health insurance, an accident during delivery may mean being unable to receive workers’ compensation for an occupational accident. Please think carefully before applying!
