Perhaps the only positive is that they are willing to explain the job responsibilities in detail and answer questions!
I went to this company for an interview at the end of June. The manager said they would notify me in about one to two weeks, and of course, there was no news. In mid-July, I decided to call and ask, and the result—great!! Apparently, a hiring freeze doesn't even need to be communicated to job applicants!
Then, at the beginning of August, they suddenly called again: “We’ve started hiring again. Do you have a job now? Are you still interested in joining us?”
Of course, when given the opportunity, I expressed my interest. Then, by mid-August, there was once again no news, so I called to ask. Great! Now they had changed to considering whether to recruit a senior HR professional, and they also said that the listing on 104 would continue, but they would no longer invite anyone for interviews.
I’m really curious... How can the HR department of a large company disregard job applicants to this extent? When I called, the person wasn’t there; they didn’t call back even after I left my number, and they didn’t reply to my email either. I really wonder—can the HR department of this company really be that busy??
