I interviewed with a very strange company for a Java engineer position. There was no written test; instead, two managers conducted the interview. One female manager kept asking whether I knew how to do certain things. At one point, I was simply trying to clarify what she meant, but she said that during the Q&A she felt I lacked “ambition” (I was probably wearing a giant question-mark expression at the time). Then she herself even got the “CR” in CRUD wrong. The entire interview ended in complete absurdity.
