The future they offer is beautiful, and the ideals they present are inspiring.
Setting aside the seniors, the atmosphere among peers is pretty good.
The overall work atmosphere is terrible; the editorial department is like stagnant water.
Working overtime is the norm here. If you happen to pack up and leave on time, your seniors will become very quiet. Then the next day, they’ll come over in a friendly manner and ask, “Is everything okay with your progress?” No matter how you answer, the ending is always a bad ending.
Moreover, Nanyi is a private company, so there are often a bunch of people who got in through connections. They don’t do any work but love to put on airs, so be careful not to offend anyone casually. A certain high-ranking official’s relative goes elsewhere all day to order boxed lunches (Nanyi does not provide meals or allowances; employees have to order their own food, and it must not affect their work progress, okay?). If someone refuses to order for him, he gets angry and says he’ll “handle it through official channels.”
To be honest, after he “handled it through official channels,” I didn’t feel any difference at all. Maybe later, the department that refused to order boxed lunches for him will be removed using his connections, hehe.
This place is more suitable for young people who are just passing through or who are not afraid of hardship. Personally, I can’t recommend it.
