The company accommodation is in a complicated environment, with everyone crowded into the same room. The area is dangerous, and colleagues are often robbed. Internally, supervisors issue arbitrary orders and even regulate things like not being allowed to dye your hair. You have to sign out when going to the bathroom, and the atmosphere is very poor. Mainland Chinese employees are working illegally in the Philippines and may be detained if this becomes known back home, so they are required to hand in their phones whenever they return to China. Many people are very calculating. I really do not recommend working for a gambling company. Colleagues love gossiping. It was a very frightening experience.
