The colleagues are all very easy to get along with. If you want to experience a large-company atmosphere, you can join this company.
If you join the Corporate Planning Department or Service Center:
1. The two departments have the same manager. They are very good at saying nice things, but often fail to keep their word, and the policies change from day to day.
2. Job duties are frequently reassigned (and differ from what was discussed during the interview). They love spending time discussing things, but the conclusions and implementation are two different matters, and they cannot accept opposing opinions.
3. As soon as you start, you have to join five or six group chats. Sometimes, if the manager cannot sleep, they will start sending LINE messages early in the morning, and they also send messages on holidays when something comes to mind. You are not allowed to leave the messages read without replying.
4. Handover of work is incomplete. When something goes wrong, employees have to bear the responsibility themselves, and having to pay compensation is common.
5. You must ask for approval before doing anything, so you have absolutely no autonomy.
6. The manager is extremely biased toward colleagues with whom they have personal connections (like a family business), assigning most of the workload to the other employees. However, the salary does not match the workload, and the workload keeps increasing. If employees cannot finish their work, they have to work overtime, and they are indoctrinated with the idea that not claiming overtime makes them good employees. However, the manager's favorites are allowed to claim overtime, while the manager is very fond of pretending to be fair.
7. Taking leave is difficult. Even if you have annual leave available, you cannot take it whenever you want, and the manager sometimes demands that employees not take leave.
8. The manager is extremely unpopular with other departments, so cross-departmental communication is very difficult.
