The people are easy to get along with.

I hadn't been at the company for long when I saw dozens of employees come and go. Several long-serving employees who had practically developed alongside the company were also forced out, using some very clumsy tactics: some were suspected of stealing company products, while others had worked like draft animals for the company but were still not valued.

“Work hard and the company won't treat you unfairly.” The person who said that at the time has since left the company as well. It's not that the company isn't making money, but the benefits keep getting worse. The once-quarterly company dinners are gone, as are the bonuses for the three major holidays. Few people can even smile when receiving their year-end bonus. The company expects you to work hard for them, yet is unwilling to offer any incentives.
